Silent systems for acoustic pianos

Acoustic piano silent systems combine two elements. They employ sensors to record your playing and convert it to digital audio or data, and use a rail to stop the hammers hitting the strings, making the piano silent.

The means you can record what you’ve played, play silently with headphones, connect to software.

More advanced systems allow the sound to be played back, complete with moving keys, whether it’s music you’ve played, or a world famous pianist in concert.
